At the same event, their sister company, Alvalab – a specialized provider of comprehensive food, beverage, and agricultural laboratory testing services – proudly announces its official launch. All three entities, Nekaboga, Nekaroma, and Alvalab, operate under PT Natura Perisa Aroma (NPA).

Billy Laurence, Managing Director of NPA, stated, “Since our inception, we’ve been committed to using natural ingredients. We have a proven track record of delivering high-quality products and services across industries. Our offerings include spices, herbs, aroma chemicals, and essential oils for food manufacturers, food service providers, non-food industries, and retail companies.”

Billy further explained that the company applies a sustainable sourcing ecosystem to select the finest raw materials from across Indonesia, establishing long-term partnerships with farmers as suppliers to promote mutual growth.

This sustainable ecosystem reflects the company's ongoing commitment to growth, as detailed in the NPA Sustainability Report 2024. The result is a portfolio of sustainable, globally certified products that exceed expectations.

With over 30 years of experience, Nekaboga offers a wide range of naturally sourced products processed with modern technology. Each product is carefully crafted with dedication and a commitment to trusted quality.

In 2022, Nekaroma was established to handle spice processing and produce essential oils. Today, all products from both Nekaboga and Nekaroma are FSSC 22000 certified – a globally recognized food safety standard that safeguards brands and public health by mitigating food safety risks at every stage of the supply chain.

Alvalab: Meeting the Growing Demand for Lab Testing

The need to expand Nekaboga and Nekaroma’s internal laboratory capabilities led to the creation of the Alvalab business unit.

Billy explained, “While we have always had an in-house laboratory, we recognized that regulatory requirements and certification demands in the food and beverage industry are increasing. That’s why we decided to develop a business unit that provides lab testing services to external clients.”

Alvalab emphasizes the core values of Accuracy, Advancement, and Attentiveness in its services. With a focus on sustainable energy and recycled materials, Alvalab provides one-stop lab testing solutions.
